The UE Red Warriors Men鈥檚 Basketball Team is under the continued tutelage of Head Coach Gerardo 鈥淛ack鈥� Santiago along with the following Assistant Coaches: former PBA players Don Allado (Lead Assistant) and LA Revilla (Skills Coach), and Lorenzo Yulo (Video Coordinator) and Cris Rubio (Skills); with Strength and Conditioning Coach Dan Rose; Physical Therapists Dave Vergara and Jay Iba帽ez, and Utility Men Alfred Mortel and RJ Felisilda.
UAAP 87 opened this Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 12 noon at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City. Hosted by the University of the Philippines, the UAAP Season 87 theme is 鈥淪tronger, Better, Together鈥� and featured a very lively and music-rich opening ceremony.
The latest UAAP games will begin anew with the men鈥檚 basketball tournament, with the SY 2024-2025 lineup of the UE Red Warriors Men鈥檚 Basketball Team seeing hardcourt action on Day 2 of Season 87.
The red-and-white squad will kick off its UAAP Season 87 campaign facing UST this Sunday, September 8, 1 p.m., at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The red-and-white squad will then be competing on the following dates:
Sept. 14 (Sat.), 6:30 p.m., vs. UP, Araneta
Sept. 18 (Wed.), 4:30 p.m., vs. FEU, Araneta
Sept. 22 (Sun.), 6:30 p.m., vs. DLSU, MOA Arena
Sept. 28 (Sat.), 6:30 p.m., vs. NU, MOA Arena
Oct. 2 (Wed.), 6:30 p.m., vs. ADMU, Araneta
Oct. 6 (Sun.), 3:30 p.m., vs. ADU, MOA Arena
All games will also be shown live at One Sports, as well as at UAAP Varsity Channel 263.
